Rolex GMT-Master II

The Rolex GMT became one of my favorite Rolex models from the moment my dad gave me one for my 18th birthday. It just looks different. The standard, stainless steel Rolex GMT II comes with a black ceramic bezel, 40mm diameter, oyster bracelet. The actual GMT (or dual timezone) hand comes in green. The dial also displays the phrase “GMT-MASTER II” in green over the 6 o'clock marker.

The bi-color bezel is often what helps people quickly distinguish the GMT from the Submariner. However, this piece with an all-black bezel is definitely a standout watch. There's a certain nostalgia about this model, being the first steel GMT-Master II to feature a Cerachrom bezel. This watch is also the last of the single colour GMT-Master II’s as Rolex has discontinued this model.  This of course sent demand up like crazy. Although not as popular as the GMT Batman, this watch will always be in demand. 

If you're a little more formal or dressy for your everyday attire, you should go with a GMT. Although it's not a dress watch, it's really sharp. It's great for business casual or business formal attire.
